Payment for exceptions to non-degree student 1 semester subscriptions

DDSA will notify Departments/Programs that they will need to pay for 1-semester accounts ($25) for non-degree students that are permitted to take a 2nd course without being admitted into a degree program and will need to upload key assessments into TS

What data should be in TS

NCATE/CAEP Key assessment data

DDSA Data Entry Accuracy

Data must be entered in TS by one person (then logged in the data collection log) and confirmed/submitted by a second person and logged accordingly.

Effort not to waste subscriptions

For those programs that have not gone live, TS will create non-submission accounts for students upon request.

In order to set up TS student and faculty accounts, TS requires the GWU NETID.

Students and faculty will be required to obtain their net ID’s in order to activate their TS accounts.

Training new students each semester

Lead program faculty are responsible for sending information about training to students and faculty. DDSA recommends that faculty post guides to their Blackboard community.

Rubrics

All rubrics (revised/new), must include the following information:

1. SPA standard alignment for each criteria,
2. Assessment name,
3. Course, dept. / program,
4. Rubric item weights (only if it is an inequitable distribution)
5. Description of the assignment
6. Instructions for completion

Code and rubric changes

Lead faculty must approve all rubric changes to NCATE/CAEP key assessments, before changing the rubric with DDSA/TS.

Timing of Data Entry

Faculty must enter data for key assessments no later than the last week of classes for the semester in which they were offered.

Students forgetting to upload and submit work in TS by the end of the semester

GSEHD students will not receive a final grade in classes that offer key assessment if key assessments have not been successfully uploaded and submitted in TS.

Professional
e-portfolio appearance

All GSEHD students/alumni should use the approved program templates to create professional portfolios.

Staying current with University Supervisors (DCEL) and Site Mentors (ELA)

DDSA will train and/or provide Taskstream training guides to Supervisors & Site Mentors.

Distributing TS welcome email with instructional guide and resource info

DDSA will send out emails and instructional guides (per program) at the beginning of each semester to new degree and non-degree students.

Dealing with NCATE students that were set up with non-submission accounts, but have not graduated.

*OPPA will only activate expired accounts for students that have not logged in to their account (since creation date), when and if they inquire about their account status.
