The child development course I completed has strengthened my understanding of how children develop physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively.  All these areas are connected, and are essential for children to attain to their highest potential.  In this class, I have learned that I need to modify my teaching style depending upon the various children in my classroom.  I have recognized how I can help children with specific abilities and needs because I have studied more in-depth about their unique situations.  I participated in classroom discussions, completed assignments for every chapter of our textbook, and wrote responses to articles I found online.  Click the links above to view some of the projects I have done in this course.
