Rationale for Professional Portfolio:

Context-

I used a commercial web page called TaskStream to create a portfolio as required by the Reich College of Education at Appalachian State University.  I made folders for each class in my Block semester and uploaded a variety of projects such as an i-Movie, newsletter, web pages (Story Pictures and Teacher Classroom), Culture Report, Photo Essay, reading assessment, and math lesson plans.

Impact-

During the semester that I student teach, I will be showing this portfolio to my advisor, my student teaching supervisor, and my classroom cooperating teacher.  The state of North Carolina requires that I meet these standards.

Alignment-

I have met competency IA because I have shown competency in basic and advanced technology skills.  This portfolio also shows my professional development and growth as a pre-service teacher.
