I completed my internship during Block II in the spring of 2006. I was assigned to a third grade class under the instruction of Mrs. Maloney at Mountain View Elementary School in Jefferson NC, for this internship. During my time at Mountain View Elementary I was responsible for completing lesson plans in Math, Science, Language Arts, Technology and Social Studies. I was also responsible for conducting a reading assessment and student observations in my designated classroom. Accompanying my social studies lesson I was also responsible for coordinating and executing a community service learning project involving the students at Mountain View Elementary.
