Science Safety Survey

Rationale

Context:

The science safety survey was conducted in my third grade internship classroom while at Mountain View Elementary during my block II experience. The survey was conducted for my GS 4401 class in order to identify the areas of safety equipment and information in the classroom I was interning in.

Impact:

Conducting the safety survey has made me more knowledgeable about the areas of safety equipment in the classroom. The safety survey has also brought to my attention the need to know where all safety devices are located in case of an emergency that might call for them.

Alignment:

I have met NCDPI standard seventeen indicator three by acquiring a safety check list and making a effort to find any areas of the classroom not adhering to the safety codes.
