Rationale for Photo Essay

Context:
This project was completed in my Science Methods class in Block II in the Spring of 2006. To complete this project I took pictures of Science all around me with a digital camera. I also had to include critical thinking questions about each picture.

Impact:
When I teach I can use this activity to integrate technology and science.I might also have the students open this activity from the web page I created and do it on a computer.This might be a way to introduce this topic instead of a tradition method. This activity will introduce students to digital cameras as well as different computer programs such as Microsoft word and Adobe photo shop Microsoft Power Point.

Alignment:
I met Standard 15 Indicator 1 by making real world connections with science that allowed all students to participate in the project.
