AP Physics C    1 credit

Prerequisite: AP Calculus BC

AP Physics C is designed to be a calculus based introductory physics course for students wishing to major in science or engineering on the college level. The curriculum includes mechanics, gravitation, waves, electricity and magnetism. Extensive emphasis is placed on problem solving abilities with both practical and theoretical applications in all phases of Newtonian mechanics and electromagnetism.  Students are expected to spend approximately one hour nightly on homework. Students will be expected to purchase supplemental materials.
