Botany    ½ credit

Prerequisite: Chemical Science or Chemistry

Botany is the scientific study of plants and their relationship to the environment. In this course students will investigate the growth, reproduction, anatomy, morphology, physiology, biochemistry, taxonomy, genetics, and ecology of plants. Laboratory and outdoor experiences on and off campus complement classroom activities.
