Kappa Delta Pi is the National Educational Honor Society and I had the priviledge to be the Alpha Beta Theta chapters Historian. I've been involved in the honor society since I was a sophmore doing various activities like participating in the Autism Walk, Relay for Life and various other events. But the most rewarding thing I got from it all was the countless of events they had for continuous growth of aspiring teachers like myself. They had teacher panels, workshops, resume improvement sessions and career fair updates. This organization and many others on campus did great things for giving young educators a way to coninue growing as they progressed through their collegiate careers.

Phi Alpha Theta is the National Historical Honor Society and I had the pleasure to being chosen to participate in the Regional Historical Conferences at Kutztown University. My senior thesis was chosen to represent Rider University at these conferences that had students representing various schools across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. I gave a PowerPoint presentation about my thesis in front of professors, historians and college students. This was a tremendous experience because of the experience I got, the tips I recieved to improve my work and what I did well.
