Classic Air Medical will teach us how helicopters can be used to help with emergency situations you might encounter during high adventure outings.

You will learn:

   -How to dispatch a helicopter, including information to relay to the crew.

   -When it is appropriate to call for a helicopter rescue or search.

   -Capabilities and limitations of the helicopter.

   -How to set up an appropriate landing zone.

   -How to assist the flight crew in loading a patient.

   -How to board, get secured in, and depart from a helicopter. 

Upon successful completion of this training, Classic will issue a "Flight Card" that will assure the flight crew you have been providing this training, so that you can be an assest to the flight crew.
