    ECAR the research arm of EDUCAUSE has surveyed undergraduates each year since 2004 to find out how they are using technology and how they see technology in their lives, particularly as it relates to learning. This year's survey shows that: 1) students value technology as a means to achieve academic goals and to prepare for work., 2) are generally confident in using technology and prefer in-class training,3) Institutional website and LMS are most valued as resources, and 4)online materials such as e-books are still experimental, not widely embraced. Other interesting findings are that students see blinded learning as most desirable and tablets and Smart Phones are catching up to desktops and laptops as most widely used learning devices. this report is an essential element for anyone responsible for instructional technology planning.

New material is posted daily as short, one page articles that can be read and digested quickly. Longer papers focused on a particular topic are also available. This is a great resource for the faculty member new to teaching and for veteran faculty looking for new ideas and approaches.
