Rationale for Other Science Websites/Activities

Context

Throughout the course of my Block II CI 3543 class, I located several science websites and activities that would be beneficial to students. The information and activities that I located would provide students with engaging science activities and information that would promote higher order thinking.

Impact

As a teacher, I will be able to use these websites and activities to teach my students about important science concepts.  I can also use these concepts as ways to keep students involved in science at home, because I can have them to take the activities learned within the science circus home to perform with family members or friends.  It has encouraged me to be more dedicated to locating information and activities that will add to my knowledge as a teacher and that will make my students' educational process more enjoyable.

Alignment

I met standard 3, indicator 2 by showing my knowledge of science concepts such as matter (through the websites) and the systems of measurements, analysis, and interpretation of data (through my science circus activity).
