Digital Movie & Spreadsheet

Access the rubric for specific grading criteria

Your movie must fit with an assignment you might give to students at a specific grade level (grades 6-12; your choice). You will write a brief lesson plan on TaskStream to explain the assignment to students, and then you will model the assignment by completing it yourself. For example, you might assign a project on family history, and then create a digital movie about your own family history.

Your digital movie should be:

-- At least 3 minutes; no more than 5 minutes

It should incorporates all of the following:

-- Appropriate titles and credits that fit the mood and content of the movie

-- An appropriate number of mages, at least one of which is original (a drawing you made, a photo you took, etc. -- not an image from the Internet)

-- A voiceover (narration) and/or music (should be original or copyright free -- check freeplaymusic.com for examples)

Optional:

Video clips

Text/titles inside the piece

Submitting your assignment:

Please burn the movie to a DVD to hand in, OR upload it to YouTube and email the URL to the instructor

Also turn in an Excel or similar spreadsheet listing each image, voiceover, piece of music, video clip, etc. used in the project

Also, be sure to send lesson plan from Taskstream to instructor
