Lesson Plan Drafts need to include:

Name (Yours)

Grade (any -- you decide)

Content Area (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies? Up to you)

Learning Goal (what do you want students to know?)

Time Allotment (1 50-minute class period? 2?)

Resources (what you will need -- laptops, projector, calculators, cameras, etc.)

Instructional Materials (handouts, etc.)

Anticipatory Set (how you will introduce the lesson)

Modeling (you show the class)

Guided Practice (you help the class do the task)

Independent practice (they do it themselves)

Closure (brief summing up)

Content Standard (at least one -- use "CA K-12 Academic Content Standards" and drill down)
