I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area (actually a small town just North of the Golden Gate bridge called Mill Valley). I attended California State University, Chico located in Northern California. I graduated with a degree in Exercise Physiology. After college I lived in both Lake Tahoe and the Napa Valley before finally landing in San Francisco.
While in San Francisco, I worked as a project manager for a landscape design and build firm in Mill Valley. During this time I began coaching High School Baseball at Tamalpais High School (my alma mater) in Mill Valley. It was during my time as a coach that I feel in love with working with kids as a coach and mentor. Ultimately it was my coaching experience that led me to Tucson to attend Graduate School at the University of Arizona and pursue a career in Education. I received my Masters in Educational Psychology in 2007. Prior to Salpointe Catholic I worked as a counselor at Sahuaro High School in Tucson.
