Life & Style Front Page: For the life and style front page I wanted to focus on issues in religion. The articles and pictures were pulled from online sources. I created the layout, cutout elements, captions, article headlines and subheads. I used a mix of InDesign and Photoshop to create this page.

Food & Leisure: This page of my fictional newspaper I wanted to layout and design to showcase the beauty and craft of the food. This page I designed using InDesign. On this page the original elements that I created were the layout style, captions, headlines and subheads, as well as the nameplate.

One Block Off: One Block off is an article completely of my own creation. The story I wrote after traveling around Chicago’s Magnificent Mile and the other streets that surround it. For this two-page spread I also took all the pictures myself. The layout, headline, subheads, and captions are all original material. The point of this project was to layout a two-page spread from conception to print.
