Special Projects
Five-Hour Energy
· Created an advertising plan from brief to finished product with a team of five other students to present to several advertising executives
· Started with field research including: going into the field to convenience stores to speak with patrons about the product, doing online research through trade publications and website, as well as creating and distributing an online survey to various age groups
· Put together a full marketing and advertising campaign ranging from creating a slogan and tagline to producing print, digital and television advertisements
· Finished product included: primary and secondary research, a client brief, marketing plan and outline, promotional materials, advertisements for various mediums, as well a full scale social media marketing pla
Open Books
· Worked with Open Books, a non-profit targeted at bringing literacy to Chicago students of all ages to create a marketing plan to boost their current market share
· Managed a team of three other students ranging from a social media assistant, a graphic designer and a public relations assistant to create a marketing plan for the company
· Created a marketing plan with primary and secondary research ranging from visiting Chicago Schools to speak with students to gathering data from trade publications and government websites
· Finished product included a full social media marketing plan, an event which was put on with funds given by the charity, as well as a schedule for future marketing and communications content
