This assignment is an experience in this process and my finished paper addresses the following specified standards as follows:
Standard One: Administrator facilitates development, articulation, implementation and management of an organization's mission; Performance Indicators 1, 6,8,10: Using available data and experience, my paper proposes school wide changes utilizing all the stock holders of the learning community. Consider their skills, abilities, needs, and demographics to best accomplish a common goal (mission).
Standard Two: The administrator facilitates the success of all students by understanding, responding to, and influencing the social, cultural, and legal aspects of the community. Performance Indicators 5,6,8: By addressing our cultural needs and the obstacles from our demographics, we'll address equal opportunities for all, a celebration and appreciation of our limited diversity, and I'll have to work effectively with policy makers to implement change.
Standard Three: The Administrator implements positive and proactive communication strategies for effective parent & community involvement. Performance Indicators 1,7: The stated disengagement of a large portion of our population will be addressed as initiated groups come up with ideas to better utilize media and communication to improve community support and involvement.
Standard 4: The Administrator effectively manages services, programs, operators, and resources. Performance Indicators 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 12: By facilitating the development of teams dedicated to independent and joint tasks.
