How is it that music can, without words, evoke our laughter, our tears, our highest aspiration?
Jane Swan (b. 1943)
In the last four years, I have dedicated my time to practicing all formats of "musicing". Everything from performance in various collection of instruments, to composing in those instruments and others still yet not mastered. Also, I believe that by endulging my time in recording and producing both mine and others' compositions, that it has empowered even more my discipline for the art of Music. I am also an active music theorist/ arranger.
After obtaining my Bachelor's in Music Education from Florida International University, I will quickly persue onto my Master's in Music, and then a Doctorate's in either Music Business, or Music Education.A very important factor that I tend to preach is that I tend to follow a balance within music and its profession. Aside from being a music teacher..., performing, composing, and recording helps me find a balance in self Nirvana, and puts me at piece, allowing me not to get tired from one single activity.
Throughout this web site, you will find items that would paint my ideal persona on a canvas.
The first attachment on this page entitled "Assessments and Goals" should give you a very clear picture of what I intend to do in my lifetime and why I chose to. It all comes down to wanting to make a difference in the cociety of Classical guitar. Through it, teaching students the value of composition and self creativity.
The 2nd attachment is a sopy of a review I did of a book named "The Sixties". It was for an American History class back in 2008. The reason why I picked this book out of a huge list of books, was that I felt like I was going to connect much more with the sociol content of the book since that spcific decade was heavily artisticlly influenced.
