LIMA, PERU and CUZCO, PERU
- Collaboration between Loyola University Chicago Athletics Department, Campus Ministry, Office of International Programs, and Center for Experiential Learning for 20 Loyola students (members of the Men's Soccer Team)
- Developed international service-learning course focusing on: interrogating conceptions of service, asset-based community development, and sport as community development/youth development
- Partnered with Jesuit institution, Universidad de Antonio Ruiz Montoya
- Facilitated site visits to NGOS/community organizations, including MLK and CCAIHO
- Conducted reflection sessions on-site to process community-based experiences
- Connected students to Chicago-based non-profit organizations, including America SCORES Chicago, Up 2 Us Sports, and World Sports Chicago
- Facilitated critical reflection eportfolio development for each student
