Welcome to Mrs. Stacy Groves’ Showcase Portfolio!

This portfolio contains artifacts that I have collected during my field experiences at Lincoln High School and East Fairmont Middle School.

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to review my portfolio. My name is Stacy Groves, and I am a graduate of Fairmont State University in Fairmont, West Virginia. I have earned a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Social Studies, grades 5-12. My ultimate goal is to become a secondary school teacher.

I was raised in Clarksburg, West Virginia; as the oldest of four children. I met my husband at Fairmont State University while we were both double majoring in Political Science and Sociology, and we have just celebrated our eighth wedding anniversary.

I am very excited to be beginning my career in education, and I hope to instill in my students a love for not only history, but the world around them as well.
