LIGHT

REFLECTION # 1

Today I learned a lot about where light evolved from and how it changed over time due to technology. for example back in cave man times they burned wood to create a flame which gave them light. later throw the years people found that killing whales for there fat would burn and could give them light. wax was also another substance of light. now today many people use incondesent light bulbs which are cheap and they are not so good for there environment. the CFL  light bulbs are more expensive then incondesent but it can last up to 2 years on one bulb and say you 40 dollars a year , rather than throwing it away on a bulb that's going to die shortly anyway. this is mostly what I grasped out the presentation today.

LIGHT QUOTE:

REFLECTION #2

Light relates to color because when a certain type of light is shown upon a different color surface it might not come out its original color. For example in many big appliance stores and grocery markets they use white light, this light compliments each of the colors that are trying to be displayed because it has every color in the spectrum. A CFL spectrum has lights spectrums that copy that original bulb because that saves the light. light can either make something appear a different color or compliment it. light and color use each other to benefit one another or show differences on other surfaces. this is how they relate to each other.

Time & Life Photography

Civil Rights: The Freedom Riders

The freedom riders conservese started in 1961. During this time racial discrimanation was very popular back in this time. Freedom riders was a group who band together for the rights of African Americans rights. These people stood by the sides who had no hope and where disrespected because of the color of there skin. This photo above is a picture of some of the freedom riders in Washington D.C. They went to talk to Attorney General Kennedy who believe's the violent backlashing against the riders harms American's image. I personally i choose this picture because i believe the purpose that these people stood for was so great. They were like hero's to my ancestors  because they faught for what they thought was right. I also like the joy these people shared by helping one another achieve a common goal that would change the world.

2.) This picture shows strong emotion because the smiles on the peoples faces shows hope and inspiration to the future.also the colors of this time shows she white and black cultures who are divided because of one simple thing race.

This picture here represents the glow because it shows two cultures that use to dislike each other for different reasons. This picture is a form of unity coming together for the better of our future. Because our ancestors put their childish and curl ways behind them we have a better society and are future that has brought both cultures closer in many ways.

This picture here is a photograph that was taken it showed how segregation between the white and black culture how they didn’t want blacks around them and in there communities. The photograph on the sign that says “NO MORE BIRMINGHAMS’’ represents how the black culture slaved and worked on buildings. This picture here is my glare because it shows what was taking away from my people just because the color of their skin.
