Rationale:PowerPoint Presentation

Context

Using Microsoft Power Point software, I  created a presentation entitled "Service Learning"  This presentation was used to present the service learning project that my students in my internship and I completed during the spring semester of 2005.  My students and I made a joint decision to make door hangers for the upcoming kindergarten class to get them excited about coming to school.  In the presentation I included a brief description of a service learning project, the student's role, what I learned as a future teacher, and responses I received from the students as we were making the door hangers.  I also inserted various digital photographs from the course of the project.

Impact

As an elementary school teacher, I hope to be able to use Power Point to present to the my students, colleagues, and parents so that we can all work together for the benefit of the children.  After learning more ways to enhance a Power Point presentation, I can also use this as a method of delivering information to my students.  I also plan to teach my students how to make a Power Point presentation.
