What the kids say.
At the end of 1st semester, I asked students whether they think their portfolios show what they've learned in college to career. Without exception, they replied in the positive. Here are a few quotes...

Of course my portfolio tells others what I've accomplished.  It shows
everything I've done in this semester and everything I learned. It also
tells people how I learned to do things I never knew before. By looking at
this portfolio I think people will be able to see what I've accomplished.

I think that my e-porfolio shows a lot of what I learned in college to
career becuase of the coments my teacher has told me. I also think that it
shows all others what I have really acomplished.

Yes the main reason is because my teacher goes through my work and leaves me
comments and that way I can fix my work to perfection and be very succesfull
in this world.

I feel yes, because doing this made me do many things that I used to think I
couldn't do. But this proved  to me that I could.

I think my e-portfolio does a great job to show that I have learned many
things, and progressed as well. you can tell that I learned and progressed
because I have work on my e-portfolio that I had never done before, and
didn't know I could do. I made a resume and cover letter and not only did
this help me learn the different methods of creating these documents, but I
am now ready to apply for a job.

This perfolio made me learn how to process my work. I learned how collect my
papers and put my work in order. Also, I learned how to be more organized.
Another thing that I learned was to be more responsible with my work.
