Artifact 81-Describe how feedback from stakeholders is used for program improvement

 The Lee County Career & Technical Center has an Advisory Committee that is made up of Community Stakeholders that include business owners, parents, college personnel, instructors, and students.   The council meets four to five times per year and some of those meetings are broken down to specific departments. 

The Lee County Advisory Council has the responsibility of understanding, discussing and implementing new ideas such as:  

  1. Perkins IV Funding
  2. Industry Certification Teachers and Students
  3. School Initiatives
  4. Guidance Initiatives

The relationship between the school systems and the advisory council creates many benefits for the school and all programs. The stakeholders recruit students and inform the community of all activities and benefits that are found at the career center. The communication with the stakeholders helps us better understand how to prepare our students for the working environment.
