Context:
This web site was created in the Fall of 2005 during CI 3750, a portion of Block II, under the supervision of Mr. Jeff Goodman.

Impact:
I will be able to use this web site in my future classes to help my students and their parents stay informed about classroom activities. I will be able to modify the web site as needed to keep it up to date.

Alignment:
NETS-T II-B: This web site allows me to apply current research on teaching and learning with technology when planning learning environments and experiences.  Also, this web site may be updated at any time in order to maintain the most up to date research

NETS-T II-C: I found various web sites that could be helpful to students and parents and evaluated the content of each site.

NETS-T II-E: Managing student learning will be easier with the use of a calendar of events page and a homework page that students and parents can refer to in order to manage learning.

NETS-T IV-B: In this web site I included a page on the effects of advertisements on children.  I surveyed several students and recorded my results as well as reflected on those results and the impact the advertisements have on students. 

NETS-T V-A: With this web site, I will be able to add assignments, reflections, projects, as well as maintain a photo gallery that will reflect my professional development. 

NETS-T VI-A: I have been sure maintain confidentiality by creating a password protected web site.  Also, I have included release forms that give permission from the parents to use pictures of their children within this web site.

NETS-T VI-C: Within this web site I have included a Spanish version of the release form for parents.
