This narrative exceeds the requirements set by Arizona’s Teacher Standards by demonstrating reflection of various effective methods used in instruction, especially brain strategies scientifically based. The implication of classroom management and delivering concepts to all learners in differentiated forms is understood.
This four week, backwards design unit exceeds Arizona's Professional Teacher Standards for design and implementation of lessons to match students’ assessment criteria in the district and to fulfill academic standards for the state of Arizona. Additionally, it meets requirements for West Virginia Content Standards and Objectives for 1st grade math during the 1st trimester. The activities are designed to fulfill the needs of all learners by providing differentiated instruction.
