After my first semester here at Longwood I joined Pi Kappa Phi faternity. We currently have 27 active members in the Epsilon Gamma chapter here at Longwood and over 113,000 brothers nation wide. Pi Kappa Phi was founded by Andrew Alexander Kroeg Jr., Lawrence Harry Mixson, and Simon Fogarty Jr. on December 10, 1904 at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.

We have many philanthropy events we do on campus including War of the Roses and our 24-hr Bikeathon. We raise money for people with disabilities and also complete various charity events where we build handi-cap accessible ramps for local people in need.

During my sophmore and junior year at longwood i worked for aramark catering company in Dhall. We were responsible for taking care of all the longwood banquets and their food requirements. I met alot of the faculty and advisors around longwood this way which has helped me out. It also taught me better table ediquette.
