Annual Report Score Calculations

Important Findings Overall Score: 12/12 = 100%

Criterion 1 Score: Exemplary (3). Calculations: At least one finding for each SLO and two findings for 85% of the SLOs for which two findings are expected.

Criterion 2 Score: Exemplary (3). Calculations: Multiple sources validated for 83% of the SLOs.

Criteria 3 & 4 Score: Exemplary (6). Calculations: Well-defined action plans for 100% of findings AND earned “Exemplary” on Number of Findings criterion AND 97% action plans extend beyond influencing a single course.

Course-Embedded Score: 2/9 = 22%

Criterion 1 Score: Improving (1). Calculation: 84% of scheduled courses have completed activities.

Criterion 2 Score: Improving (1). Calculation: 52% of the scheduled courses where acceptable targets are not met have well-defined action plans AND 80% of the scheduled courses where acceptable targets are met have well-defined action plans.

Criterion 3 Score: Developing (0). Calculation: 83% of scheduled distance courses have completed activities which meets the first requirement for “Improving.” However, only 42% of the scheduled distance courses where acceptable targets are not met have well-defined action plans, therefore this does not meet the second criteria for “Improving.”

Non-Course-Embedded Score: 5/6 = 83%

Criterion 1 Score: Exemplary (3). Calculations: Of the 12 listed items, 5 influence well-defined planned or undertaken action plans (Alumni Survey, Locally-developed student survey, Professionally-developed student survey, program reviews, and Advisory Board Recommendations).

Criterion 2 Score: Satisfactory (2). Calculations: A student survey (NSSE) AND a locally-developed Alumni Survey influences at least one well-defined action plan. No focus groups were used.

Prior Year Review Score: 1/3 = 33%

Criterion 1 Score: Improving (1). Calculations: Most (70%) SLOs have at least one verified, implemented action. 50% of SLOs have reported results and 50% have verified impact on student learning.
