Encourage and facilitate further and accurate incorporation of AAC&U’s "High-Impact Practices" (HIP) in SoLA courses and programs.
 
Increase interdisciplinary nature of SoLA via collaboration across disciplines both within and outside of existing interdisciplinary programs, via team-teaching (most obviously), as well as other types of collaboration (both in class and out).

Increase number of courses that make appropriate use of technology in their execution, from both the faculty and student sides of the equation. This goal is aimed at both traditional in-class courses and summer online courses. This goal focuses, in particular, on DAsH ("Digital Arts and Humanities").
 
Better educate School of Liberal Arts students regarding the value of study abroad/study away and more actively encourage and facilitate their participation in appropriate programs. Also, develop more SoLA faculty-led study abroad / study away programs.
 
Work with the Center for Graduate School and Fellowship Advisement, and internally within SoLA, to better educate and more actively encourage SoLA students regarding the possibility of graduate study, including law school and in both traditional and new graduate fields.
 
Work with and support the Center for Career Development in developing a structured program that specifically prepares Liberal Arts students for the post-graduate job market, as many of our competitors have.

Increase funding for School programs and support for faculty and students via the pursuit of external grants and fundraising, as well as the standard budget process.
 
Continue to enhance PR for the School, our programs, our faculty and our students, including, but not solely, via the MC website, but a SoLA newletter and other outlets.

Increasing interdisciplinary nature of SoLA's interdisciplinary programs.
Make interdisciplinary programs more truly interdisciplinary, as opposed to simply multidisciplinary, via team teaching, for example. Also increase collaboration outside of the context of the already identified interdisciplinary programs, including (but not solely) via team teaching.

Add strategically placed new FT (TT or Visiting) faculty positions in order to further support SoLA's participation in the resurgent and growing Arches program, meet increased demand for SoLA-external required courses, and reduce the School's use of adjunct of faculty.
