GoalMapping
The Computer Science Department is planning to launch a graduate program in Computer Science starting from Fall 2018. This will be a 30- credit hour program containing a core (4 required courses) and an elective component (4 electives or 2 electives in conjunction with Master thesis/project). For those graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Manhattan College 6 credits will be counted toward an M.S. degree from their B.S. courses. This it will be primarily a B.S.-M.S.program, which will still be open for students from outside. It should be expected that opening a graduate program will help to improve an undergraduate enrollment and to drastically enhance research in the department.
