The Comprehensive Clinical ePortfolio

Portfolios are currently being used by colleges and universities in the process of teacher training. The Graduate Literacy Education Program is a logical extension of the undergraduate education professional portfolio required at Frostburg State University.

Students will be required to develop an ePortfolio via Taskstream throughout their graduate program. The International Literacy Association (ILA) Standards are the standards around which the ePortfolio is to be developed. The ePortfolio is intended to facilitate reflection and provide documentation of knowledge and skills. All courses in the literacy education core sequence have been redesigned to reflect the integration of the ILA standards in both course objectives and course assignments. Students in the Master's in Literacy Education Program at Frostburg are expected to develop mastery of these standards across their programs. Their ePortfolios will demonstrate and document this development.
