After the Assessment Plan has been entered, approved by the Office of Assessment, and gone through its respective Assessment Committee, the Office of Assessment will lock down the Assessment Plan in the system.

Your 'Check Out' icon will look like this:

This feature is used to ensure that all future changes to the Assessment Plan are noted appropriately and are sent back through the appropriate committee for review.  Programs/Units are free to change their plans at any point in time, but must first notify the Office of Assessment to have the area unlocked.
