Student Learning Outcomes

Goal 1: Students demonstrate knowledge of the basic facts and concepts of Informatics. 

1.A Students will identify, define, describe and recall basic facts and concepts of Informatics.

Goal 2: Students illustrate their knowledge of Informatics with critically analyzing Informatics Systems. 

2.A Students will analyze, criticize and illustrate aspects of Human Computer interaction.

Goal 3: Students illustrate their knowledge to address social impact and analysis of technology. 

3.A Students will discover and interpret Informatics problems and demonstrate potential solutions.

3.B Students will distinguish, arrange and compile information and construct creative Informatics solutions.

Goal 4: Students create designs and develop Informatics systems. 

4.A Students will infer, discuss, arrange and convert raw data into information.

4.B Students will recognize, classify, organize and explain information.

Goal 5: Students communicate their learned Informatics knowledge articulately through spoken and written mediums. 

5.A Students will develop interpersonal and intrapersonal communication skills by outlining, explaining and defending their project work.

5.B Students will compile clear and concise interdisciplinary technical reports.
