Writing Program Learning Outcomes & Blooms Taxonomy

Program Learning Outcomes detail the knowledge, skills, and attitudes expected of graduates and program completers of the program. Outcomes should be aligned to the mission of the school/college and the institution. Ideally, program outcomes are not a statement of general education goals or core skills, but rather much more specific to the major. As such, Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) clearly state what students will know, be able to do and what they will care about upon completion of your program.
