This portfolio showcases academic and professional accomplishments and maps my growth as a nurse during my enrollment at WGU in pursuit of a BSN degree.

I strive to fully engage with each patient, whether an individual, family, population, or community, advocating for them and partnering with them to maximize their health and well-being. I endeavor to facilitate communication, education, and relationship; both learning from and teaching my patients; empowering them to make healthy physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual choices in accordance with their values and priorities. It is my goal to contribute to the betterment of my community through involvement with action committees, legislative efforts, and by volunteering with charitable and philanthropic organizations. My current focus is alleviation of homelessness and rehabilitation and treatment of those with mental health and substance use disorders.
