When a student grows up around negative influences and discouraging aspects of life, it diminishes their want for change.

They lack the inspiration to put an effort towards a happy life because they look around and see the negative aspects that still exist, so the question "how far can I really go?" comes across their mind.

Living around a life filled with fear and depression encourages disappointment.

Looking outside your window and seeing your family members being dragged into a life of drugs, death, and despair.

Education faces other factors and refuses to let individuals reach any level of success when students have to overcome the difficulties of living through such life altering expereiences within their personal life and then having to shun their pain nand anguish with their family and personal obstacles to allow education to inhabit their way of thinking.

Although, many people focus in the improvement of the education system as a whole they don't acknowledge the other factors that might restrict a person from moving forward.
