Standard 5.1 Professional growth, reflection, and evaluation

This artifact best aligns with this standard because it is an observation of a lesson direct from a fifth grade class. I saw exactly what happened through this whole lesson and was able to provide feedback. It is my first chance to actually offer feedback on a lesson I had observed. Through this assignment I was able to see how what I had been learning about translated in the classroom setting. I think it displays what connections there are between textbook scenarios and real life application.

I felt it best to put this artifact here because it is well written and one of the best reflections I have done. Being able to make the connections from real life to what I had been learning in class helped me enforce what I was learning. This artifact shows how I have grown as an educator and as a student, simply because I am able to take what I had seen, write it down and tell exactly what I would do the same and what I would change. It shows ability to listen and take others opinion and then turn it into my own.
