My focus area when I become a Secondary Education Teacher will be Social Studies.  Social Studies at the secondary level encompasses History, Geography, Government, Political Science, and Economics.  During my time at Chandler-Gilbert Community College I have enrolled in many Social Studies courses, below you can read about each of the courses.
