Welcome to Andrew Mehraban's Professional electronic portfolio.  In this portfolio you will find examples of teaching, playing, comprehensive musicianship projects, as well as sample lesson plans and video footage of his teaching in the classroom.  Other things you will find in this portfolio include competency in electronic music production and the use of Logic Pro (multi-track recording software) as well as scores for classical compositions.

Andrew Mehraban began his music studies with piano at age 7, violin at age 9, and double bass at age 11.  He graduated with honors (Cum Laude) from Upper Arlington High School in 2007 and graduated from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) with degrees in Double Bass performance and Music Education.  During his undergraduate career he has performed with both the Concert Orchestra and Philhamonia Orchestra at CCM as well as the Concert Orchestra at the Aspen Music Festival and School.

His teaching experience includes two years of an internship with the University of Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, a non-music major orchestra.  He has also student taught in Anderson township in Cincinnati, Ohio, specifically with the Maddux Elementary String Orchestras (grades 4-6) and the Anderson High School Orchestras (Philharmonic and Symphony).
