This portfolio contains all the work I completed during the Social Justice Internship Program, where I participated in a 9-person cohort while completing an internship with a Chicago-area nonprofit organization. My time interning with Catholic Charities' Refugee Resettlement Program was central in relating real-world experiences to social justice topics discussed in the cohort.

I used multiple forms of media to create this work: written essays, a podcast, a poster, and powerpoint/Prezi presentations.  In this portfolio, you will find my thoughts regarding a number of important aspects of social justice including leadership and asset-based community development.  You will also find reflections on my experiences and feelings during the entire course of the program. Overall, being able to reflect on these experiences in the moment was important to process the work I was doing at the time. Enjoy!
