Collaboration on the Use of Graphing Calculators
Dr. Terrie Poehl, associate professor of math education, is collaborating with I. A. Lewis math teachers on the use of graphing calculators for basic skill reinforcement and calculator applications that allow students to work individually.

Math Education Student Involved with Tutoring
Dr. Terrie Poehl in collaboration with the administration at I. A. Lewis has arranged for her teacher candidates enrolled in Secondary Math Methods (EDCI 456) to tutor individuals and groups of students to help them increase their math knowledge and skills. These candidates are also engaged in teaching three-five math lessons under the supervision of the classroom math teacher.
