Scholarship of Teaching and Learning

Laurie has been a leader and a participant in the Mercy College Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning (FCTL).  She was a member of the Faculty Council that developed the mission and plan for the center and served as a Faculty in Residence for FCTL from September 2009 through  August 2011.   At the  February 2011 Educause conference in Washington DC,  she co-presented the Educause workshop, Faculty Learning Communities: A Model for Faculty Development and Technology Integration.  This session was videostreamed and is available online at Educause.   

Laurie created the digital story, "The Master Teacher" in the Center for Digital Storytelling Workshop at Mercy College Manhattan Campus June 28-30, 2012.
