A rising 3L at Loyola University Chicago School of Law interested in corporate health care transactions and litigation, specifically in matters relating to fraud and abuse. I am in the process of obtaining my health law certificate and compliance certificate through the Beazley Institute for Health Law and Policy. I am also working towards obtaining an advocacy certificate through the Dan K. Webb Center for Advocacy. Currently, I am a legal extern for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Counsel to the Inspector General where I support the OIG's mission of combating fraud and abuse in Federal health care programs.

During my 1L summer, I worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mary L. Mikva in the General Chancery Division of Cook County’s Circuit Court. Throughout my 2L year, I externed in the Legal Affairs Department at Mérieux NutriSciences where I assisted with a variety of general counsel matters, including preparations for mergers and acquisitions. I also clerked at Malman Law, a personal injury firm specializing in health care litigation.

As the 2015-2016 Director of Social Programming for Loyola’s Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA), I worked to build bridges among and between Loyola’s APALSA members, other like-minded law students in Chicago, and professional legal networks in the Chicago area.

Since July 2013, I have had the distinguished honor of being on the Executive Board for Family Hope Charity, Inc., an international non-profit that provides poverty alleviation programs, focusing on children’s programs and economic empowerment, in high poverty areas around the world. As of January 2016, I was elected Chairman of the Executive Board for Family Hope Charity.

Prior to law school, I received a M.A. in Theology from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and Bachelor Degrees in Political Science and Sociology from University of California, Irvine.
