For my spring semester of freshman year I decided to take a ISYS 272, which is a programming class called Intro to Business Programming. I decided to take this class because it was need for my major and I also had some previous programming experience from taking Intro to Java my senior year of high school. This class uses a program called Visual Basic which essentially allows a programmer to create graphical user interfaces or GUIs and add code them to make them function is certain ways. Each week we have a set of programming assignments which are simple tutorials on how to successfully build different types of programs. After these program exercises we are usually quizzed on the knowledge we gained while completing these assignments. Below I have attached and example of one of the programs we did here in class so you can get a feel of what exactly I am talking about. The attached program is a Ruman Numeral Convertor. It is great for teaching young kids Roman Numerals and is very easy to set up and use. Simply intall the program and it's ready to go!
