Hello world and welcome to my new site! My name is Rubin Patterson and I am currently a 19 year old freshman attending school at Longwood University. I am a business major with a concentration in cyber security and information systems security. Computers and electronics have always been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. As I got older I started to familiarize myself in the realm of computer repair and computer networking. This fascination lead me to choose the major I am in today. 

I got my start in computers my junior year of high school. It was this year that I started taking Cisco classes at a local trade school called the Chesterfield Technical Center, that partnered with high schools in our county. Through the Tech Center I learned valuable skills of computer repair and computer networking. I also learned many soft skills such as presentation and public speaking, resume building, and job interview skills. Needless to say this paved the way for me to get an early start in the IT field at my young age. It also allowed me to obtain a computer repair job at ALB Tech in downtown Richmond Virginia.

Throughout this site you can expect to find out many other facts about me and the life I live on a day to day basis. This site was designed to give you inside look at topics ranging from my personal interest and what I do in my down time to my academic and work history as well as future goals in life.
