My previous job at the Office of Academic and Career Development and Student Employment gave me the opportunity to understand the different fields of education and the value of proper guidance and counselling. It showed me how exposure to your field of preference from an early stage can influence your success rate later in life. This has encouraged me to look for opportunities to work in the medical field to see for myself if I truly belong in it.
Working at the front desk of the Office of Academic and Career Development has allowed me to develop a valuable set of people-skills. Efficiency was always my strong point, but this job taught me to add good customer service to that, which made my work presentation look a lot better. This greatly improved my communication skills too. I hope to implement all these qualities into my work to make it a success.
