The UED Dean has responsibility for communicating with the PELSB staff and the Board itself about changes to approved programs through email and EPPAS, submitting all PERCA reports for continuing program approval in EPPAS, and submitting any RIPA applications for new program approval in EPPAS. The Dean works closely with the Coordinator of Assessment, Reporting and Accreditation and faculty program coordinators to ensure that program effectiveness PERCA reports are submitted in a timely manner.
In the event that there is a need to make program changes, as agreed on by faculty, the Dean works with the UED Program Coordinator and the UED Assessment Coordinator to prepare and submit the proposed change via EPPAS. For example, and in adhering to this standard, during summer 2022 the UED made revisions to the Special Education-ABS licensure program with the UED Dean working with PELSB staff to submit a few course changes in EPPAS to the approved program.
