Experiencing how working-class families live first hand is quite an amazing experience. By participating in the Poverty 101 event, I had the opportunity to participate in what these citizens have to go through with their everyday lives. Acknowledging that many of my students may come from these families, it is my responsibility to accommodate their educational needs.
