I have become extremely knowledgeable on the variety of genre’s that are involved in literature. I have learned as well as practiced how to perform an outstanding, meaningful read-aloud. By creating a handout for students to follow along with as I read the story, will allow them to be focused and have a well-rounded idea of what book I will be reading to them as well as directions to the activities that follow along with it.
